   According to the requirements of the overall planning of sea and land along the red line of ecological protection, the red line system of ecological protection in Hebei Province includes the extremely important areas of ecological function of the land area, the extremely sensitive and vulnerable areas, all kinds of protected areas and marine ecological functional areas, and the sensitive and vulnerable areas of the oceans, etc. Finally, the area of red line of ecological protection is 40500 square kilometers, accounting for 20.70 square kilometers of the land area of the province. Hebei Province ecological protection red line mainly distributed in Chengde, Zhangjiakou, Tangshan, Qinhuangdao, Baoding, Shijiazhuang, Xingtai, Handan and other places. The red line of ecological protection in Hebei Province includes red line of ecological protection of wind and sand in Bashang Plateau, conservation of water source of Yanshan-maintenance of biodiversity, ecological protection of ecological line of conservation of water and soil of Taihang Mountain and ecological line of ecological protection of biodiversity of Taihang Mountain. Hebei plain river lakeshore belt ecological protection red line, coastal sea area ecological protection red line and so on. Lu Zhuqing said: in April 2018, the "outline of Planning for Hebei's Xiong'an New area" was approved by the State Council. According to the requirements of the "Red Line Delimitation guidelines for Ecological Protection," the preliminary scope of the "Xiong'an Ecological Protection Red Line" was determined and a proposal was put forward. 

    As an important part of the overall planning of Xiong'an New area, after the approval of the master plan of Xiong'an New District, it is brought into the red line of ecological protection in Hebei Province. Hou Jinchi, Director of Natural Ecological Protection Department of Hebei Province, introduced Baoding area as one of the key areas in the red line of ecological protection in Hebei Province. He said Baoding City adjacent to Beijing, Xiong an New District, its geographical location is particularly important. Baoding Laishui County, Laiyuan County, Yi County and Fuping County in Hebei Province in the main functional zoning of Yanshan-Taihang Mountain conservation area, is Taihang Mountain water conservation, soil preservation of key functional areas; Taihang Mountain area west of Baoding is located in the winter wind direction of Xiong'an New area and is the birthplace of 8 rivers flowing into Baiyangdian Lake. The red line is an important ecological barrier in Xiong'an New area.
